Chef Michel Desjardins has been part of the Spuntino family since 2015 beginning as a Sous Chef, and cooking his way up to earning the Executive Chef title. Day to day, he focuses on creating the perfect ‘Spuntino Experience,’ by utilizing local and seasonal ingredients, focusing on menu and recipe development, and quality from that he hopes you’ll see on every plate. Chef Michel, who presented a Feast of the Seven Fishes dinner at the James Beard House, loves stepping out of the kitchen and working in the community — you may recognize him from farmers markets, summer youth programs, and helping you plan your past and future private parties. Haitian-born, and United States-based since 1989, Chef Michel credits his wife and three daughters, his biggest supporters – and critics – for getting him where he is today.
