Rhone Wine Dinner

The Rhône River starts in central France, rising to the Alps just south of Lyon, stretching almost to the Mediterranean Sea. This river lends its name to the iconic southern French wine region on its banks, the Rhône Valley, as well as its major AOC, Côtes du Rhône.     

Smoked Trout & Fig Salad     

Radicchio, arugula, goat cheese, pomegranate seed, citrus vinaigrette.  

Rosé, Domaine Chantepierre 'Tavel'  

Candied red fruits, spices, and minerality on the palate. 

Crab Agnolotti 

Corn, tomato, homemade ravioli, sweet corn broth. 

Côtes-du-Rhône Blanc, Dom de la Solitude |  2020 

A nose of citrus and apricot mixed with white flowers. A round and welcoming palate with a fresh and vibrant finish.  

Duck Confit   

Fregula, tomato, fontina.  

Dom Chantepierre Lirac | 2021 

 Aromas of spice and dark red fruit lead to a rich palate of crushed dark red berries, plum, and brown spice.  

Beef Bourguignon   

Puff pastry, mushroom, potato, carrot, pearl onion.

Chteauneuf Du Pape Barberini Cuvée, Dom de la Solitude | 2020  

On the palate, it is fresh and balanced, with notes of cocoa and cherry and a long finish of licorice.  

Crème Brulee  

With strawberry. 

Sauternes, Château Laribotte | 2020  

Attractive complex nose of acacias, white flowers, lemon, and a touch of honey. Light, fruity mouth with flavors of candied fruits and dry apricots.
