Rocca Delle Macìe Wine Dinner
Thursday, October 12
7:00 PM
With Special Guest Andrea Zingarelli, third generation winemaker, U.S. Ambassador of Chianti
In 1973, Italo Zingarelli purchased the borgo of Le Macìe and set to work on what has since become one of the most well-established and representative wineries in the Chianti Classico area. Today, thanks to the commitment and foresight of Italo’s younger son, Sergio, Rocca delle Macìe has not only enhanced its reputation, but has also increased in size with its six estates now covering a total of 600 hectares — of which 200 are under vine and 60 are given over to the cultivation of olives, subdivided across the company’s six estates.
