City Green Urban Farm
City Green is a non-profit organization in Clifton, NJ that is dedicated to facilitating the establishment of urban farms and gardens in northern New Jersey’s cities to create increased access to healthy, local food while cultivating education in food systems, nutrition and the environment. We partner with City Green annually by donating a portion of proceeds from special menus, volunteering on the farm biannually, participating in events at City Green, and having Chef Michel attend their intern lunches to teach them how to cook the fresh vegetables they grow on the farm.
Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Every October, Spuntino Wine Bar & Italian Tapas celebrates Breast Cancer Awareness Month by raising & donating proceeds to local organizations. Spuntino Clifton raises to benefit Chilton Medical Center and Spuntino Westbury raises to benefit Adelphi NY Statewide Breast Cancer Hotline & Support Program.

Montclair Farmers’ Market
Chef de Cuisine Michael Desjardins of Spuntino Wine Bar & Italian Tapas volunteered at the Montclair Farmers’ Market, where he hosted a live demo and provided freshly cooked samples using the ingredients sold at the farmers’ market that day.
March of Dimes
Spuntino Clifton participated in the 5th annual Signature Chef’s event sampling favorite tapas benefitting the March of Dimes, a nonprofit with the mission to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.
